Baseball players and tennis players usually make good golfers. Why is this? There are a number of reasons that makes this statement true. Baseball and tennis players have exceptional balance. They keep their head behind the ball at impact and they are looking at the ball at impact. They swing through the ball, not at it. They finish their swinging motion and stay on plane throughout the stroke. The baseball swing is more like the golf swing because both hands are holding on to the bat and basically have the same motion through the swing. In other words the hands and arms cross over through impact. In The biggest difference between the two sports is that in baseball the swing is more of an upward motion and the weight is on the rear foot at impact.
