Although I am not surprised that Tiger is not coming to play this year. I am still IRKED. Ticket sales were based on the world's #1 being there to play in his own event.
This hurts the event and especially hurts the local economy.
Plus, with everything going on, this place would have been the media capital of the earth for a few days.
C'MON Tiger, you can't duck this forever....

Working the event as a marshal at #6 and #15 weekdays, and standard bearer on the weekend...
It'll be interesting to see how much smaller the gate is this year...
I'm HOPING that with today's revelations, we could at least see an exhibition this weekend, but the odds of that are a snowball's chance in...

Tiger's story is so much bigger that this tournament. I hope that the play will outshine the smut.
It has been a while since there was a playoff here. Two brits will be battling for the title - Westwood & Poulter.

No doubt rookie sensation Fowler should have been invited this yr. They need a captains pick or something to let a few extras in this tournament. As for the TeeClub, you've done a great job at these and nice to see theres a couple more added besides the four majors. But we need more local PGA events! I expect Ricky Fowler to be in contention at Riviera.

Thanks TeeClub, I enjoy these fantasy challenges, especially for the US and British Opens. This year, I suspect Phil and Tiger will not finish in the top 5 at the US Open, as Olympic doesn't fit their style. Not that I'm rooting against them, they're both incredible players. At the driving range yesterday, I witnessed a young father telling his 6-year-old that one day, he'll (the 6-yoa) be the "Mexican Tiger Woods," and people will be calling him Don Pancho. Things like that show you that Tiger's good for the future of golf.
