Dalton started playing golf in high school
10 years ago in Pennsylvania. After high school golf, he attended
the Penn State University. Dalton graduated in 1999 with a BA
in Professional Golf Management. Also during this time, he completed
and passed all testing in the PGA Golf Professional Training
Program. This program tests Golf Professionals in the areas
of Teaching, Merchandising, Tournament Operations, and Golf
Operations. In February of 2000, Dalton was elected as a PGA
Member. A couple months later, he was named as the Head Golf
Professional at Sterling Hills Golf Club.
His teaching experience started in 1995 while attending PSU.
At Penn State, Dalton was able to instruction P.E. Golf Classes
for the University. From 1995 to 1999, Dalton worked near Chicago,
Atlanta, and Hilton Head on internships for his degree. During
this time Dalton was able to build on his teaching experience
by instructing over 200 clinics, over 100 private lessons, and
many corporate group lessons. Dalton’s strong points in
his teaching are the ability to work with all levels of player
from beginner to professional level. He teaches the fundamentals
and how to manage your game to meet your goals so you may enjoy
the game of golf.
